VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT LEARN

Leadership Empowerment and Resource Network is a non-profit initiative structured to provide viable alternative platforms for young people to learn in dynamic and exciting environment. Our mission is to groom young leaders and make them socially confident, responsible, responsive and self-reliant through exposure to wholesome education, vocational skills and recreational activities.

As a result oriented and purpose-driven organization, our desire to achieve our vision and objectives has driven us to design and implement life impacting programs for the past 10 years. Some of these programs are Employability training, Time Out with the Youth, After School Program, Summer Skills and Training Program, etc.

This summer, we are inviting volunteers to support our Summer School Skills and Leadership training. The summer school which will hold for approximately 5 weeks will be held at 2 center in Lagos (SURULERE and ALAGBADO). DURING THE 5-WEEKS PROGRAM, PARTICIPANTS WILL BE TAUGHT VARIOUS CORE SUBJECTS, RECREATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL SKILLS LIKE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, LEADERSHIP, MORAL AND CIVIC EDUCATION, CREATIVE ARTS, ETC. WE ALSO EMPHASIZE VOCATIONAL TRAININGS LIKE BEAD MAKING, MAKE UP AND GELE TYING, ARTS AND CRAFTS, SCREEN PRINTING, SHOE MAKING, BARBING, HAIRDRESSING, etc.

Volunteers can expect to gain experience, network and given a chance to make a lasting impact on a Childs life whilst developing your interpersonal skills.
